MGP Helmet Air Flow Vents

MGP helmet has a dual channel air venting system with a rear fin similar to OGK AEROBLADE Ventilation System. MGP helmet rear fin is designed to work in conjunction with the frontal air intake to offer the maximum amount of air flow through it.

The rear fin main function is to redirect the air flow from the front onto the back of the rider. This aerodynamic function gives a quieter and more stable helmet when travelling at high speed.

MGP Helmet Top Ventilation

Good air flow around the helmet is an essential part in keeping the helmet stable in changing conditions. The MGP helmet has two air venturi vents in the back and this is fed by two large air intake vents in the front. There is no air diffuser or top ventilation shutter

MGP Helmet Visor

MGP helmet has a wide visor view. The advantage of wearing a open-face helmet is the unlimited forward visibility provided by the design. The wide visor opening does not obstruct the motorcycle rider's peripheral vision when looking straight ahead. MGP helmet visor has good optical properties and better peripheral vision means more safety for the rider. MGP helmet visor is very easy to remove and re-install.

MGP Visor Rotation Mechanism

MGP helmet incorporates the industry standard shield mechanism without side plates. You can be assured that MGP helmet face shield rotating mechanism do a good job at keeping the face shield firm and secured when it's raised or lowered. It is very rigid, so it doesn't flex when moving it up and down through the four distinguishable detents.

MGP Helmet Shell Construction

Although MGP helmet is made of ABS shell construction and not fiberglass-based, it should provide the same level of protection as those made of fiberglass composite material. You can enjoy a peace of mind knowing that MGP helmet has passed stringent Singapore Safety Standards SS 9: 1992 and attained the "PSB TEST" label.

MGP Helmet Interior Lining

MGP helmet inner lining is not quite as plush as the EVO RS 959 helmet review but it does have thicker padding. The padding on the sides and the forehead are wrapped with soft velvet. MGP helmet has a slightly narrower internal shape which means a fairly snug fit on the sides for the rider.

MGP helmet inner lining is removable and washable.  It consists of separate pieces including the cheek pads and lining.  There is a small cushion in the center that has been made to allow moisture and heat to transfer from your head into the airflow inside the helmet. This leaves your head cool and dry during your ride.
